Things I Learned from Love in the Time of Cholera

Cholera sucks.
Always tell people how you feel about them.
Getting older is a natural part of life.
Also, Gabriel García Márquez has a serious way with words:

"He allowed himself to be swayed by his conviction that human beings are not born again once and for all on the day their mothers give birth to them, but that life obliges them over and over again to give birth to themselves."

"The only regret I will have in dying is if it is not for love."
