A Literary Inspired Halloween

For a few week's, David and I tossed around various ideas for Halloween costumes.  We wanted to do a "couple costume" but didn't necessarily want it to be too cutesy.  We thought about being minions, we considered being Daenerys and Ser Jorah Mormont, and we even thought about something Dexter themed.  When I mentioned to David that I had a Frodo Baggins costume from years ago, we struck upon gold with the idea of David being the Tower of Barad-dur complete with the eye of Sauron at the top.

We took so many action shots over the course of the night, and everyone agreed that the costumes were a great success, especially David's ability to transform a yoga ball into the eye of Sauron.  We were even told that we had the best couples' costume ever.  Woohoo!

  2. Thanks! We were so thrilled with the way it turned out! And now we'll always have a last minute costume idea on reserve!
