Today, I finally finished David's scarf! It took me a while to finish since I ran out of yarn about halfway through and one of the colors was out of stock for about two months, but it's all done, and I'm hunting for some new knitting projects now. For this particular scarf, I used Knit Picks' Comfy Worsted yarn in lilac and creme brûlée. I cast-on 39 stitches on size 8 needles, and each color block consisted of 30 rows of the garter stitch until I had 15 blocks (8 of the purple and 7 of the yellow). It was a nice little beginner project, and I hope it keeps David warm enough this winter!
